It was in service from November of 1965 till December of 1985 when it was sold and replaced by Engine 31-11. In April of 1999, WSFD approved the repurchase of the truck. After many hours of work preparing the truck, it was sent to East Penn Fire in Pottstown for restoration in July of 2001. The truck was returned to WSFD in November of 2001 and many more hours were spent reassembling it. Now this truck is used for our annual Christmas caroling, special events, and parades. Special thanks to Retired Chief Jack Kelly and Firefighter Kevin Urban for all their hard work on the truck.
